Description
Centrifugal Fans and Blower Design Software "CF Soft Version 9" is a new web-based version released with improved designs and many new features. Users can now generate 3D outputs instantly, along with DWG and STEP files.
With CF Soft 9, you can create tailor-made fan designs based on the exact volume and pressure requirements. Designs can be tested according to AMCA and relevant IS standards. The software is user-friendly and does not require any advanced computer expertise.
The software allows users to perform research and development by modifying different output parameters to achieve optimum design and maximum efficiency. It also saves significant drafting time and minimizes design errors.
CF Soft 9 supports all major fan types including ID, FD, and SA fans. It covers a static pressure range of 10 mm to 1200 mmWG and a capacity range of 250 to 100,000 m³/hour. These limits can be customized according to individual user requirements.
The software supports multiple impeller blade types such as Backward Curve, Backward Inclined, Forward Curve, and Radial Blade. It also includes various material options including Mild Steel, Stainless Steel, FRP, PP, Brass, Aluminum, Bronze, Teflon, PVC, Cast Iron, and Copper. Users can also add custom materials to the database library.
A new stress analysis feature enables users to verify material thicknesses and prevent mechanical failures. Once the required capacity and pressure are entered, the software automatically generates complete manufacturing drawings in both 2D DWG and 3D formats, along with a detailed Bill of Quantities (BOQ) for quick cost estimation.
The software provides detailed impeller design outputs including outer and inner diameters, number of blades, blade development drawings, inlet and outlet blade angles, total efficiency, and required power (BHP).
Casing design outputs include casing width, all radius dimensions, casing inlet and outlet velocities, outlet height, inlet diameter, and thickness calculations.
Shaft design outputs include all AMCA arrangements, hub, pedestal, key dimensions, bearing selection, and other essential mechanical design details.
Additional outputs include motor and fan GD², vibration amplitude, sound level, weights of impeller, casing, hub, shaft, and motor, approximate dynamic load including the motor, foundation details, performance curves, speed-torque curves, and testing outputs.
Finally, CF Soft 9 generates a real-scale General Assembly (GA) drawing directly in CAD format for manufacturing and documentation purposes.
